Our Leadership
MI Search is founded by Thapelo Molapo, a multiple award-winning HR expert with more than 20 years’ experience in the practice of People Management. Molapo is the current Chairperson of the HR Committee on the Board of the National Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences and current Chairperson of the Finance & Grants Committee on the Accounting Authority of MerSeta.
Thapelo Molapo holds among others a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Cape Town and a Diploma in Education and Training from the National University of Ireland, Galway. He is currently completing a Masters’ degree in Applied Ethics for Professionals at the University of the Witwatersrand. In 2020, Molapo was nominated by Wits University to a global research team of the centre for Human Rights and International Justice at Stanford University. This team will be developing a library of ethical dilemmas caused by the use of Artificial Intelligence in the Financial Services sector.
